MARINE AVIATION EXCELLENCE
A Unique Heritage
A Loyal Bond
A Future of Excellence
The Marine Corps Aviation Association (MCAA) recognizes professional excellence in Marine aviation through education, activities, media, events and its renowned awards program. MCAA has the largest aviation-based award program in the country. Headquartered in Quantico, Virginia, MCAA continues the mission of its founding fathers to link the past, present and future of Marine aviation.
EVENTS
Besides our Annual Symposium in May, MCAA hosts various events, dinners, and golf tournaments throughout the year. A portion of the proceeds from many of our events help fund historic projects, aircraft restoration, scholarships, and allow us to donate (as a community) to organizations that support Marines and their families in time of need. Please continue to visit our website for upcoming events and news.
OUR PUBLICATIONS
We publish two magazines: The Yellow Sheet and the annual MCAA Journal. The
Yellow Sheet is produced three times a year. It keeps our readers up to date on current
events in Marine aviation while also educating them on its legacy of success.
The MCAA Journal is our premiere publication that highlights our 28 award recipients
and provides an end of the year summary from all four Marine aircraft wings.
HOW TO SUBMIT AN ARTICLE or ARTICLE IDEA
We are always looking for aspiring authors, whether it’s an almost true story from a
retiree or an after action item from a Marine in the Fleet, we want to hear from you! If we
accept an article, we pay a small stipend to our authors. For details on how to submit an
article, please contact our MCAA Editor, John Rader.
